Conference “Philosophy and Poetry in Islamic Contexts” January 14-17, 2026 in Erlangen
In cooperation with the Orient Institute Beirut, the Chair of Oriental Philology and Islamic Studies at the FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg (Prof. Dr. Georges Tamer) is organizing the interdisciplinary conference “Philosophy and Poetry in Islamic Contexts” from January 14 to 17, 2026. Discourses between Jews, Christians, and Muslims in the context of philosophy and poetry will also be considered. Details can be found in the call for papers.
