Twinkle Yousuf Ahana completed her Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from Bangladesh University of Professionals, where she was actively involved in student politics and organized workers in the garment industry as a trade unionist. She completed her first Master’s degree in Labour Policy at the Berlin School of Economics and Law with a scholarship from the Catholic Academic Exchange Service (KAAD). She is currently completing her second Master’s programme in ‘Standards of Decision-Making Across Cultures’ at the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences and Theology at FAU. The KAAD scholarship introduced her to the importance of interfaith dialogue and understanding and sparked a deep interest in how religious values intersect with social and labor policies. At BaFID, she wants to contribute to the promotion of mutual understanding and co-operation between different religions and cultural backgrounds. As a student assistant, she is responsible for editing and proofreading publications and following up on the publication process, as well as websites and social media management.
