BaFID organizes a thematically oriented lecture series called “Bayerisches Interreligiöses Kolleg” (BIK for short).

Previous Lecture Series:
Various topics have already been covered in previous years. In the summer semester of 2021, the focus was on Fundamentals of Interreligious Discourse. The topic in the summer semester of 2022 was: Ideas of paradise in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. The events took place via Zoom in cooperation with the Volkshochschule Erlangen. The 2023 summer semester focused on “Interreligious competence in educational work and the communication of values” – also in collaboration with the Volkshochschule Erlangen.
The lecture series, which was recorded and is available on the BaFID YouTube channel, took place via Zoom in the summer semester of 2023. The program can be downloaded here.
