Lecture Series BIK

BaFID organizes a thematically oriented lecture series called “Bayerisches Interreligiöses Kolleg” (BIK for short).

The lecture series in the winter semester of 2024/2025 deals with the topic:
 Interreligious Aspects of Communicating Values in Current Public Discourses

Previous Lecture Series:

Various topics have already been covered in previous years. In the summer semester of 2021, the focus was on Fundamentals of Interreligious Discourse. The topic in the summer semester of 2022 was: Ideas of paradise in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. The events took place via Zoom in cooperation with the Volkshochschule Erlangen. The 2023 summer semester focused on “Interreligious competence in educational work and the communication of values” – also in collaboration with the Volkshochschule Erlangen.

 

BaFID also presented its research findings from the field of interreligious discourse in a lecture series – here is the kick-off in SS22 with a lecture by Prof Dr Daniel Krochmalnik.

 

BIK took place exclusively in digital form.
