Educational work

One of the main tasks of our research center is the transfer of knowledge. Diverse materials are produced which target multiple audiences, including youth and teachers as well as influential figures in society, politics, media and education. Our knowledge transfer consists at the moment of five parts. These are:

  • the lecture series “Bayerisches Interreligiöses Kolleg” (BIK) at the FAU every summer semester
  • “Erlanger Interreligiösen Gespräche” (EIG), which BaFID organizes together with the Erlangen City Library
  • out-reach events such as lectures, project days or seminar series offered by BaFID at various institutions
  • a newly founded journal
  • online materials such as conference reports, video contributions, an interreligious calendar and in the future an interreligious glossary
